Jamie is by far the best DJ that I have seen at a wedding! Not only did he MC my wedding but he was also the MC at my best friend’s wedding. Our wedding was small (100 guests) and Jamie did an excellent job of getting the entire crowd involved. He was very receptive to the crowd and played music they all enjoyed. I would highly recommend Jamie. He is very professional and really caters to what the bride and groom want.

If I could give any bride just one word of advice it would definitely be: BOOK JAMIE SIMPSON with Houserockers as your DJ!! It was definitely one of the best decisions we made!! Everyone had a BLAST at our reception especially us!! He keeps the party going from start to finish. Everyone that was there has been complimenting him to me and two of my bridesmaids will definitely be having him as their dj as well! SO many people have told me that it was the best reception that they’ve ever been to! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Jamie. He was such a pleasure to work with during the whole planning process and then the reception was more than I could have ever asked for!! Its definitely apparent why he has such a good reputation from anyone that has been to one of his wedding receptions! Oh, and I would definitely recommend the uplighting and the slideshows. We used both of them and loved them both!

Bill and Marlie hosted a beautiful wedding and reception at St. Marys Catholic Church and Social Hall in Crown, PA. The reception was themed around a “Winter Forest” with evergreens throughout the room and incorporated into their custom monogram projection.
Bill and Marlie also selected white, silver, and gold confetti as one of their enhancements for their Contemporary Package.

Stephen and Megan held an awesome winter wedding and reception in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. The evening kicked off with a custom introduction that included individual theme songs for each couple in the bridal party. Stephen and Megan arrived to the perfect song, “Why Wait” by Rascal Flatts. After dinner, the dancefloor was on fire from the very first song to the very last. Check out the video:

The truth is I am a very lucky guy to work with all of these wonderful couples and their families. I really couldn’t be more blessed to perform for these amazing people! (Special Note: I had a chance to say hi to all 3 couples a few weeks later as they traveled to Clarion to cheer on their High School basketball team in the district playoffs. What a surprise!)

Jamie and Houserockers DJ was exceptional! He makes everything so easy when you’re in the planning stages, and that continues at the reception. You don’t have to worry about a thing! Everything ran so smoothly, we were able to just enjoy. Houserockers also keeps the “house rockin.” We got so many comments from our guests about how much fun they had, and that they don’t normally dance at weddings but they danced the night away at ours! He’s definitely worth every penny!
Stacy and Kevin held an unforgettable wedding reception at The George Washington Hotel in downtown Washington, PA. I performed for Stacy’s family just a few years earlier at Mandi and Chad’s New Years Eve celebration. The best part of what I do is when I get to see familiar faces over and over again. This was certainly a family affair with Stacy’s parents Bill and Kathy being gracious hosts. Bill offered a moving toast and poem to his daughter. What put the exclamation point on Kevin and Stacy’s commitment to family was that they now share their wedding day with Kevin’s grandparents, Glen and Louise, who were celebrating 67 years of marriage that very same day. How awesome is that! And just in case you were wondering, the reception was a complete raging dance party from start to finish.

Sam and Crystal held a beautiful winter snowflake themed wedding reception a week before Christmas at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, PA. To compliment their decor, I provided a Monogram Projection with a snowflake that was displayed on the dance floor. A great bridal party introduction followed by an awesome first dance for over 300 friends and family was a fantastic way to get the evening started. Take a look at the video:
