Sam and Crystal held a beautiful winter snowflake themed wedding reception a week before Christmas at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, PA. To compliment their decor, I provided a Monogram Projection with a snowflake that was displayed on the dance floor. A great bridal party introduction followed by an awesome first dance for over 300 friends and family was a fantastic way to get the evening started. Take a look at the video:
Jamie was absolutely amazing! He followed all requests made by myself and my husband and knew exactly what music was keeping the dance floor full. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! I love how the evening went and I owe it to Jamie for keeping everything moving. Thanks a ton for making my reception everything I could have asked for and more!
Kristy and myself would just like to thank you one more time. I can’t tell you how many times we heard throughout the night that our wedding was the most fun they have ever had at a reception, and wanting to know who the DJ was. You really put the exclamation point on a great and special day for us.
Best Wishes,
Kevin and Kristy
Kevin and Kristy produced an amazing wedding reception in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. From the introductions, to the guys doing the “Bad Romance” dance (yes guys), and even TJ singing his classic version of “You Belong To Me” by Taylor Swift, it was really a night to remember. I even got to see my good friends Jill and Francis (10/09) Check out the video:
Deven and Megan hosted an awesome celebration for 200 of their closest family and friends. There was non-stop dancing from begining to end with a little ZUMBA from the girls thrown in as well. Thank you so much for the amazing time Deven and Megan!
Jamie,
Deven and I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for giving us such
a wonderful wedding reception!! We have not talked to one person who did
not rave about “how wonderful the DJ was” and we completely agree! It was
wonderful to be able to relax and enjoy the evening, as you had everything
taken care of! Everyone was dancing and the props were hilarious! Thank
you again for helping to make our wedding so memorable! You are truly an
incredible DJ and we greatly appreciate your service!!
Rob and Kalyn hosted a beautiful ceremony and wedding reception at The Red Fern in St. Marys, Pa. I LOVE seeing couples that really LOVE each other. When Rob’s voice cracked just a bit while reciting his vows or how Kalyn never took her eyes off Rob while they danced their first dance, love in action is just wonderful to see. The music Kalyn and Rob choose for their ceremony was personal, emotional, and perfect!

As you can tell from the video, reception was filled with dancing and everyone had an amazing time! I got to work with Eric Smyklo Photography for the second time this year. Him and his wife did a fabulous job! I even got to hang with my friends that just booked their June 2012 wedding with me a few weeks earlier, Eric and Roxy.
Thanks Rob and Kalyn for being such a loving couple!
Calling Matt and Taryn’s Wedding Reception AMAZING would simply not do it justice. The room was on FIRE with ENERGY from the introductions to the very end of the night. Taryn and Matt had a fabulous bridal party, a great family, and friends that came ready to party. It really was a night to remember. I got to work with my good friend Vincent from ElizabethVincent Photography. Check out his incredible work for Taryn and Matt. Also a special thanks to Mimi from the Doubletree Pittsburgh.
We had the absolute best day and all of our friends and family members have continued to compliment us on you. Thank you!!! -Taryn and Matt
Tom and Jennifer hosted an amazing reception at the Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, PA. The event was completely personalized from the dinner music (doo-wop and motown) to the song that kicked off the dancing (DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love). The reception was a true reflection of Tom and Jen’s style. With that said, every wedding reception is rooted in tradition, like their amazing Polish Bridal Dance. Check out the video:
I got a chance to see a past Houserocker couple, The Alwines.
Hi Jamie,
I just wanted to say thank you again for this past Saturday! You did a wonderful job and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Everyone said they had a great time!
Thanks again and I would recommend you to anyone in the future!
Three sisters, Three weddings, and Jamie. Being a part of family celebrations over and over (and over) again, is really the best part of what I do. Above is Kelly (2002), Lauren (2007), and our beautiful bride Casey (2010). This wedding was special on so many levels. First, Casey and Ben wanted a mixed media presentation to their first dance and Casey’s dance with her dad. I designed a custom music video of their favorite photographs that played to the music for each dance. The real challenge was how to display the video. So instead of bringing in truss or a screen/projector, I simply placed the 42″ plasma above the fireplace on the mantel. A custom monogram was projected on the tv when no video was playing.
Second, Casey wanted to do funny photos as their guests favors to take home. I mentioned, why not bring in a photobooth, and a after a quick call to my friend Cap Capello, we were all set!

Sara and Aaron hosted a beautiful reception at the Alpine Room – SNPJ Center, Enon Valley, PA. The evening started with all of the guests waiting outside as Sara and Aaron arrived in a beautiful horse-drawn carriage. A great time was had by all with lots of dancing. One guest even came prepared with his own little “Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy” dance. It was a great night! Thanks Aaron and Sara! Enjoy the video:
I love Friday night receptions. They just have a completely different feel to them. Desiree and Adam set the tone by arriving to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” Their guests were on their feet at The Red Fern before I even introduced my first couple. It was really awesome! Check out the video:
In Desiree and Adam’s bridal party was a soon to be Houserockers Bride (June 2011), Rachel. Her fiancee Stephen and Maid of Honor (sister) Sarah were there as well! They kept me going all night and were really a lot of fun! Hats anyone (inside joke!)
Desiree and Adam had excellent taste in music. They choose Van Morrison’s “Into The Mystic” as their First Dance song, which happens to be one of my All-Time Favorites! Thanks Desiree and Adam for my 42nd Wedding Wire Review!
When my good friend Shannon contacted me to do her daughter’s wedding 18 months ago, I knew it would be a celebration no one would soon forget. Shannon is a successful caterer in DuBois, PA and we worked together at many weddings.
She has seen it all (twice), and now it was her turn to make her daughter’s wedding absolutely perfect. I also had the chance to work again with my good friend Joelle Watt who shot the picture above. Here is a link to more of Joelle’s photos.
I helped Shannon organize and plan the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all held at the Red Fern in St. Marys, PA. Sue and the staff did a fabulous job.
I was not only the “DJ”, but my duties extended to being the day of wedding coordinator, provided sound reinforcement for the ceremony (with 2 singers), Video Presentations (Slide show, First Dance Visualization, Father/Daughter Slide show), Image Monogram Projection, and Accent Lighting. Simply put, it was the biggest wedding of the year! Check out the video:
