When hiring a DJ, I knew that I wanted someone that would entertain my guests and keep the reception flowing. Jamie did exactly this at my wedding reception. The number one thing that my guests asked me was “where did you get that awesome DJ”. Jamie was very easy to work with and personable. I knew that I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Jamie really got the crowd going and kept them dancing all night. He played all of the music that was requested and also threw in some of his own special touches. Jamie is a professional and an expert in entertaining. I’ve already provided his information to several guests at my wedding.

I loved working with Jamie and hope to see him at some of my friends weddings :)

Bill and Marlie hosted a beautiful wedding and reception at St. Marys Catholic Church and Social Hall in Crown, PA.  The reception was themed around a “Winter Forest” with evergreens throughout the room and incorporated into their custom monogram projection.

Bill and Marlie also selected white, silver, and gold confetti as one of their enhancements for their Contemporary Package.

Stacy and Kevin held an unforgettable wedding reception at The George Washington Hotel in downtown Washington, PA.  I performed for Stacy’s family just a few years earlier at Mandi and Chad’s New Years Eve celebration.  The best part of what I do is when I get to see familiar faces over and over again.  This was certainly a family affair with Stacy’s parents Bill and Kathy being gracious hosts.  Bill offered a moving toast and poem to his daughter.  What put the exclamation point on Kevin and Stacy’s commitment to family was that they now share their wedding day with Kevin’s grandparents, Glen and Louise, who were celebrating 67 years of marriage that very same day.  How awesome is that!  And just in case you were wondering, the reception was a complete raging dance party from start to finish.

Kevin and Stacy selected the Houserockers DJ Contemporary Package which included candlelight accent lighting and a custom monogram projection on the dance floor.  Here are some video highlights:

You will not find a better DJ in PA! Jamie knows how to keep the party going, how to satisfy his audience, how to be flexible, fun, and adaptive, and he just plain rocks! Sam and Crystal held a beautiful winter snowflake themed wedding reception a week before Christmas at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, PA.  To compliment their decor, I provided a Monogram Projection with a snowflake that was displayed on the dance floor.  A great bridal party introduction followed by an awesome first dance for over 300 friends and family was a fantastic way to get the evening started.  Take a look at the video:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Trudy and Fred hosted an amazing wedding reception at Cross Creek Resort in Titusville, PA.  Their guests were treated to so many cool ideas including a visual projection of the autumn leaves falling behind the head table, candle light accent lighting, a monogram projection at the entrance, and so much more. The dancefloor was on fire from the beginning to the very end of the night!  Check out the video:

 Jamie was amazing from start to finish. He assisted me with all of my ideas for over 2 years. I have so many people telling me that my wedding was one of the most fun they have ever been to. So many people made a point to call me or write and tell me how wonderful the DJ was at the wedding. I even have a friend who told me if she ever gets married, she will be hiring Jamie. Jamie went above and beyond, and continues to do so even after the wedding. My day would not have been so perfect in so many ways if it were not for Jamie. He is a true professional and a great friend.

 Thank you so much for everything you did to allow our wedding to be an absolute amazing experience!! I thought the wedding monogram looked awesome and it was the first thing I saw when I walked through the door! The slideshow looked amazing also. And the reception in general… Jasen and I had a freakin blast! You made every part of the reception run so smoothly and you made it so much fun with the way you did things and the props that were perfect! I wish i had a video of “Aunt Gail” and Bobby the “Jersey Shore” boy doing the  garter!!! Oh my gosh… that was way too funny.

Honestly, you were the best! We’d definately recommend you and will have you again if we ever have another occasion!

Brian and I wanted to thank you sooo much for our wedding September 4th! We had the best time and so did all of our guests, I can’t tell you how many people, friends and family, said that was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and everyone commented on how much they loved you! You did a great job and we couldn’t be happier. One of our friends asked (as a joke) if we could get divorced so we could have another wedding! I just have to say, listening to the last hour or so of music (I was using Shazam on my iPhone to capture the music titles) that the whole wedding reception was brought back so vividly.

OK…so I’m a sucker for music, but you really made the wedding reception memorable. Your selection and combination of titles was just excellent. You are worth every penny you charge!

Don’t hesitate to book Jamie Simpson right away for your wedding! Our wedding guests are still complementing my husband and I on Jamie’s talent. It’s amazing to look back on our reception pictures and see everyone on the dance floor laughing and having a good time!!

533 of Stephen and Jodi’s closest family and friends attended a beautiful wedding reception at the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona, PA. No, that wasn’t a mistake, FIVE HUNDRED AND THIRTY THREE. The room was on fire with energy from the cocktail hour to the very last song of the night.

What set the tone for the evening was an out of this world introduction, that included separate introductions for the bridesmaids ( Single Ladies) and then the groomsman(Sexyback) with Jodi and Stephen popping thru the bridal party (It Takes Two).   But that’s not all.  As the group made their way thru the crowd and spaced themselves out along the isle and dance floor I dropped Jump on It and the entire bridal party performed a choreographed dance  that brought the house down.

This was my second wedding for Stephen’s family as I did his younger brother’s Matt’s wedding back in 2008.  Here is a link to Matt and Jamie’s Wedding.

Jodi and Stephen added the beautiful accent lighting and a “names in lights” gobo to really personalize the event.

I often say the best part of my job is when I become more than just a dj, or even a friend.  I get a chance to become part of the family.  Thanks Jodi and Stephen for letting me be part of yours!

Jen and Clint had a beautiful celebration at Laube Hall in Freeport, Pa on November 7th, 2009.  Jen selected the 6 hour premium package which includes 6 hours of performance time and 2 options.  Her options consisted of accent lighting and a monogram projection.  Here is a note I just received from Jen after the wedding.

We wanted to thank you so much for the amazing job you did at our wedding!!! It was more than we could have ever asked for! Even with an older crowd, everyone was having a great time! Everyone couldn’t say enough nice things about you and everything you did! We LOVED the Newlywed Game, it was such a great way to start the evening! To this day, almost three months later, everyone is still talking about what a great time they had!  We have so many great memories, many thanks to you :)!
